How cool is this bear bean bag!?! I am so keen to get one for my girl but my husband is not convinced that she NEEDS one. I love that the pattern is not printed but hand stitched, I would so like to see this in real life. Fingers crossed. Buy it at HAPA in Christchurch.

Miga de Pan
I have no idea what this all says because it is in Spanish but the pictures speak for themselves. This Buenos Aires artist makes cute crochet toys but the work I love the most is the crazy embroideries and the tree trunk table.

For Like Ever
This is not new news but some of you may not have seen this before. I have wanted to buy this poster for far too long and strangely enough it would go perfectly with the colours in my girls room. You wouldn't believe how many times I have added this to cart and not checked out. Loads of other colours available at Super Rural.

Made by Muku
My favorite style of kids clothing is simplistic, natural fibers and neutral colours. Made by Muku from Lithuania is all of those things.

Abigail Brown
After taking Gigi to the zoo, I have a new found obsession for Flamingos. Abigail Brown makes beautiful fabric bird sculptures that would look really sweet in the right space. Of course my favorite is this flamingo.

Needle & I
If you follow Mama Likes This on Facebook, you would have already seen this when I shared the link a few weeks ago. I absolutely love these pieces by Needle & I, they are so simple but so perfect. I would like one of each please.

Pillowcase Round Up
Woohoo this is my 200th post!!!
So on this bedding hunt I had a moment of pillowcase hunting, although it was a while ago so I may have forgotten some of them. Below are all of the ones I can not choose between.
CASTLE & THINGS
I want everything on this site!
SUNDAY MORNING DESIGNS
My husband and I weirdly have the same favorite artist; Dylan Matorel. We own a lot of things with his work on it. Including the owl pillowcase below and the rhino as a decal for our daughter who is completely obsessed with all the tiny details and animals you can find in his work.
THIRD DRAWER DOWN
Always a favorite store for all things a bit mental.
ETSY
I haven't fully explored Etsy for pillowcases but I think these are to die for. I love the white one the most.

DIY Kitchen
I love this DIY kitchen from Lay Baby Lay, a site full of nursery mood boards. It's such a great idea to make something like this instead of buying them. Click here for more images.

Oh Mabel
I'm so excited to let you know that Oh Mabel have released some of their styles in single bed size!!! It's not often you come across printed sheets that are reminiscent of your childhood. These sheets totally remind me of the crazy floral ones we had as kids, although these are much nicer.
I have to tell you about this chevron quilt, it is literally THE best quilt we own. Not because of the way it looks, even though it is beautifully aged looking due to being printed by hand. But because it is a duvet cover AND it is a comforter. So you can use it in the warmer months and when it gets super chilly you can put a duvet inside it. It truly is genius.
Oh and everything is organic and manufactured using sustainable and socially conscious practices.

Vintage Kids Chairs
After seeing the cute old school style chairs at my girls play group I decided to go on a mission to find some vintage chairs. If I could have a house full of chairs I would, it's one of my many weakness's. Of course most of these are not in New Zealand. But they are definitely worth drooling over if nothing else.

Numero 74 Bed sets
So I am on the hunt for some nice bedding for when the sides finally come off the cot. I have blogged about Numero 74 before but I don't think I mentioned these beautiful bedding sets. They come in loads of colours and include a duvet cover, pillowcase and pj bag and they come in 4 different sizes. I can't decide which one I would get.

Flavor Wallpaper
I had totally forgotten about Flavor wallpaper. Many years ago had a serious obsession with one of them but the price was way out of my range. Below are some that would be great in kids rooms.

The Collection
The Collection has a few things I have blogged about before but here are some cool new things for kids. It's definitely worth a good look around this site for all kinds of homeware, I'm only scratching the surface here.
CAT & DOG WALLPAPER
Both designs are available in pink or blue + mustard for dogs and light green for cats.
NEON SWING
This first time I saw this I thought it looked so unsafe but now I see the actual product it is on my want like in a big way!
NEON STORAGE BASKETS
It's obvious I love a good fabric storage basket but I don't own one and probably never will. These come in a gold trim too.

OC: Schier Shoes
It's good to check in on the Opening Ceremony kids section every now and then, so you don't miss cute things like this. Schier shoes (the original desert boot) are hand made in Namibia by a group of eight gentlemen. There are four colourways available exclusively at Opening Ceremony.

Play
So I'm not normally into blatant brands screaming across clothing, but I do like this Comme des Garçons Play logo a lot. It makes a lot of sense on kids clothing. See more on Dover Street Market.
Mavis & Osborn
This is my new favorite NZ brand! I found Mavis & Osborn on my long search for a waterproof jacket, and have bought a few of these things below. I was recommended the summer weight linen jacket but luckily they have just made a waterproof version! We have it and it is divine, it is so well made with little leather toggle details and the fabric is super soft. I could go on.
The thing I love about this brand is the detail in each piece. The jeans have a drawstring but off to the side and the little tees have the pockets but on the angle. Like a Charles Eames says; the details are not the details, they make the design.

Bunny Pops
Most of the ice block moulds around are all the same, but this is pretty cute. A bunny ear handled ice block that pop out of a top hat! More info here.
