I might be slightly obsessed with bedding! I just stumbled across some simple but different kids bedding from the Netherlands. Taftan do a good range of colours for kids and babies beds. Below are duvets with big and small gingham and the little things in bags are bottom sheets.

Jimmy D
Jimmy D is my favourite NZ clothing brand and I am dying for my order of the S/S2012 collection Buzz Kill. It just occurred to me how perfect all these loose styles are for pregnancy. And check out the very last picture below - a breast feeding dress! Perfection.

Bump Leggings
I have to admit it's pretty hard scouting out clothing to wear while pregnant now that I am not. But I wish I had come across these back then. I basically live in leggings these days and while pregnant they were unbelievably annoying and now are very stretched. But these look perfect. Not sure about the heels tho.

Droog
Speaking of Droog Design, these sticky lamps would be really cute in a kids room. I have been meaning to buy these for our bedroom for years but for some reason I just never get around to it. I love how simple and graphic they are.
While I was checking out the Droog site I also came across this swing with plants by Marcel Wanders (who did a cute colab with MAC Cosmetics recently), a pretty sweet idea for kids and adults.

Child Child Chair
By SMS a design studio in the Netherlands, this two child table and chair is such a cute idea. Not sure what happens once the baby is not so little anymore? These guys are probably best known for their highchair for Droog design that you cut down as your baby grows up. Love the styling...

Crochet Light Shade
How beautiful is this? I'm really into crochet at the moment especially when it is is not used traditionally. This shade is made by Naomi Paul in the Uk and would look just as great in a kids room as it would in a lounge.

Best Seating for Kids
Moroccan Poufs! I spent about four or five years trying to find these. I asked many friends to get them for us while they were in Morocco but they never bought them home. But finally I found them at Table Tonic in Australia. Luckily I found them while I was pregnant, they were great for putting my feet up. At the moment I am collecting things for my babies room (hopefully they will all look good together) and got a few more poufs. I am sure they are going to be great for when Gigi has friends around and they are good when you have lots of visitors too. I'm pretty sure you can't have too many! Oh and check out the Table Tonic blog, too much goodness!

Uh oh, somebody stop me!
Oh dear, I stepped into Peppin Boutique today and couldn't leave without buying something. This happens every time! They have just released the cuff pants in merino for winter. These pants are the best I have found (we have three pairs and counting) they go from 3-18 months!
They also have a cool range of baby blankets in beautiful grays as well as baby Swandri's. And check out this cushion! I don't think I have ever left Peppin empty handed.
PS. the black and white pants are on sale.

Father Rabbit
One of my favourite new online stores based in Auckland is Father Rabbit. We have bought a few things for our house here but they have a great selection for babies too. Everything on this site has a particular aesthetic that makes you want to buy it all! Here are my favourite pieces from the baby rabbit selection.
Ergo Pouch
A while ago we bought this baby sleeping bag by Ergo Pouch and I definitely recommend it. No need for blankets and really, really good to get a wriggly baby into plus great for changing nappies in the night. A bonus is it is all organic cotton. There a few other weights we have not tried yet. The only downfall is the size, at six months old our baby fills the length of the 2-12 month old size so we will only get a few months use out of it rather than the 2 years you can get out of the thinner merino style sleep sacks you can find everywhere. Buy them locally at Father Rabbit or the Sleep Store.

Lamington Merino
Socks are a bit of an issue around our house. We never have a matching pair but mostly they don't actually stay on our baby's feet! So I finally decided to splurge and get some Lamington Merino Socks. Turns out they are great, they fit snuggly and they actually stay up.
HiLo
I was just checking out my new followers and came across Ikke (HI! thanks for following!) a gorgeous store based in Sydney. There are so many beautiful things and I haven't quite delved right in yet but had to stop and post this awesome high chair by HiLo. If I only saw this before we got our highchair!
Anyway as you can see it goes from a high chair to a toddler seat - genius! Buy it here.
