Needle & I

Quite a while ago (you may have noticed my blogging absence) I was sent this beautiful garland of clouds from Needle & I. It is hanging across my daughters door and made me aware that there is a cloud theme going on in her room, how did I not know? Sketch Inc

I can't remember where I came across this but I absolutely love it. Sketch Inc do an eclectic range of mostly geometric objects. I am absolutely obsessed with the shadowbox. There is so much more to see, go and have a look around

Cart Before The Horse

It might be obvious I'm on an Etsy roll. These crazy creatures are by Cart Before The Horse in Portland. They are all made by hand out of quilter's muslin that they sand and paint and sand and paint again. There is so much detailed work in them and they are all limited editions of 25.

Peachy

Garlands are obviously hot right now but these are different. If I didn't already have a garland in our baby's room, I would definitely be buying one of these. Made by Shelby Dimarco, find them on Etsy.

So I have been meaning to post this for a long time! But the jackets keep selling out. They will probably be sold out when you click on this link. Somehow I just stumbled across these amazing paper lamp shades from Studio Snowpuppe in the Netherlands. Designed by an architect and an industrial designer, they are just stunning. So perfect for a modern kids room. I so want to get one of these one day! But them here or on Etsy here.

Cat Rabbit

Check out these INCREDIBLE art toys (are they toys?) by Hobart based textile artist Cat-Rabbit, I am totally in love with them! Of course most of them seem to be unavailable I'm sure due to the awesomeness of it all. The website is also gorgeous and worth a look even if you don't like the works so much (how could you not?).

Etsy Gold

It's sooo hard to search for things on Etsy that don't look home made and are a little bit design- esque. But if you look long and hard there will always be something. Here are a few of my recent finds...

Baby Leggings by Thief & Bandit 
These are actual leggings, not those weird leg warmer things (seriously what are they like? What about the top of the babies thighs? I don't get them), I got a pair for my baby and they are really nice. I have a thing for printed leggings.

Monkey Long Legs Toys by Sally Nencini
These are pretty cute, hand knitted and embroidered,there are a few colour options. She also makes wool cushions with childish graphics, would be good for a sweet themed nursery or kids room.

This however is possibly the best thing I have found on Etsy so far! It's a vase in the shape of a root, it sits upon a wall looking peaceful and weird. This is definitely on my wishlist! Get one here.

Wooden Teethers

It's so hard to find god things on Etsy and I can't even remember what I was looking for when I stumbled across these organic wooden teethers, they are not your standard shapes for babies but some of them are kinda cute.

Cute Creatures

Here are some pretty cute finds from Etsy, I love these little hand made creatures from Lou Lou & Oscar and the coloured animals from The Good Machinery are a cute decorations idea and they make little soft toys for the purpose of story telling. The plant holders from Plaid Pigeon would look great in any room. Etsy is a gold mine but you have to dig deep!
